Detailed 3-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Jaisalmer – Local Sightseeing
Arrive in Jaisalmer and meet your representative for a comfortable transfer to your hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, begin exploring the historic side of the city.
Visit Jaisalmer Fort, one of the city’s most iconic attractions, and admire its golden sandstone architecture. Continue to Patwon Ki Haveli, known for its beautifully carved façades and traditional interiors. You can also explore Gadisar Lake, a peaceful spot surrounded by historic temples and shrines.
In the evening, enjoy the festive atmosphere of Jaisalmer’s local markets. During Diwali, the streets and shops come alive with colorful decorations, traditional lamps, sweets, and handicrafts.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 2: Jaisalmer – Sam Sand Dunes Desert Experience
After breakfast, check out and head towards the spectacular Sam Sand Dunes, located in the Thar Desert. The journey offers beautiful views of the changing desert landscape.
On arrival, check in to your desert camp and relax. In the afternoon, enjoy an optional camel safari or jeep safari across the dunes. Watching the sunset over the Thar Desert is one of the highlights of the trip.
As evening arrives, experience traditional Rajasthani hospitality at the desert camp. Enjoy folk music, Kalbelia and other cultural performances, a traditional dinner, and the warm festive ambiance of Diwali beneath the desert sky.

Day 3: Sam Sand Dunes – Jaisalmer Departure
Wake up to a beautiful desert sunrise and enjoy breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Jaisalmer.
Depending on your departure time, you can visit a few remaining attractions or shop for traditional Rajasthani handicrafts, textiles, souvenirs, and local sweets.
Later, transfer to Jaisalmer Railway Station, airport, or your preferred departure point, marking the end of your memorable 3-day Diwali holiday in Jaisalmer.
